A Song Dedication...
To my favourite Chem lecturer (not tutor).

It's seldom that I actually praise teachers on my blog, so what you are witnessing is a rare occurrence that will seldom happen.

I want to thank her for her selfless contributions to the well-being of her students. Her patience, her intellect and her unique style of teaching has broadened my horizons significantly, to such a colossal extent that this dedicated blog entry may be insufficient to do her any justice.

Her uncanny ability to interact with the students during lectures and the connection between the teacher and student are beyond what words can describe.

The best I could do, is to dedicate a song to her.

The Hypnotizer

Superstar, where you from? How's it going?
I know you got a clue what you're doing
You can play brand new to all the other chicks out here
But I know what you are, what you are, baby

Look at you gettin' more than just a re-up
Baby, you got all the puppets with their strings up
Fakin' like a good one but I call 'em like I see 'em
I know what you are, what you are, baby

Hypnotizer, Hypno-Hypnotizer
you're a Hypnotizer
Oh, Hypnotizer, oh, you're a Hypnotizer baby
You, you-you are

you, you-you are
Hypnotizer, Hypnotizer, Hypnotizer(Hypnotizer)

x Avogadro's constant until you fall asleep

Gosh, don't try to front
I, I know just-just what you are, are, are (x2)

(You) You got me sleeping
(You) You're oh so boring
(You) But I can't do it
(You) Hypnotizer!

It's a waste of talent that she didn't train to be someone who chant prayers. Or at least you know, go for the psychiatrist interview because while others need to oscillate a chain and use other tools to hypnotize their patient, she just needs one --- her voice. Her soporifous, monotonous voice.

DELI-mma
With all the serious blog flaming incidents that are surfacing on our newspapers, I must be careful in what I say, because I have a tendency to criticise people I dislike a lot.

I think I am in a DELI-mma, and it's not about food really (Deli somehow links to food, get it?). LOL. Some stupid idiot midget (anonymity is good!) is pissing me off la!

Anyway, Physics sucks. Chem sucks. Econs sucks. Tell me what doesn't suck. =(

What are the chances...?
that a former NC classmate for 2 years is in the same class as you, when there are 26 other classes that she can possibly get into?

The answer: 1/27 times 1/27 (pointed out by the Cheena Killer Bee)

The results: You guessed it, I am in the same class as Tzumi for another 2 years!

Haha, it was so shocking. After we managed to squeeze our way through the crowd to examine the class allocation lists place in the Atrium, either one of us said "27" first.

Initially, I thought she was saying MY class out loud and she thought I was saying HER class out loud. Turned out we are BOTH in the same class. Hilarious la. And totally expected. I mean, what are the chances?! Fate la.

Anyway, have to make new friends again. After interacting with our OG people, they split us up again and throw us into different classes. A bit pointless, but of course making more friends is not a bad thing.

09SH27, welcome the anti-social being!

The 06 WARRIORS!
Today, we had only 1 hour of Chem lectures and the rest is free time, but we had to stay back for a performace by T'ang Quartet.

At 12.30pm, we had a OG6 Lunch Outing! Lol, the OGLs passed us the OG group photos we ordered and a disc with all the photos taken during the orientation inside. Aiyo, many with me inside are so unglamorous! Drats. We gave the OGLs a water bottle or something. I wasn't in charged of preparing it, I was only in charged of chipping in. =D

We went for lunch at Mac at KAP (King Albert's Place or smth). They started making weird concoctions using Milo, Green Tea, Iced Lemon Tea and Coke. We played the number game thingy and the loser had to drink a sip. I am so glad I didnt have to drink that stuff!

dot dot dot
I went for the squash try-outs today and the only thing that got squashed was my morale! Lol, because the ball I hit keep going sideways or up, up and away! It is my FIRST time playing anyway, not to mention the first time I held a squash racquet. I doubt I can get in.

I shall join Interact Club or something instead, or I & E. Haha. Shall consider later.

I just got muggified! It's hard not to, considering the whole environment that is perfect for mugging. But I think it wouldnt last long, for me at least. Last time at the beginning of Sec 4, I was chiong-ing A Maths everyday when I'm at home, partly because of the motivation (aka PRESSURE that the gleeful Tzumi gladly provided). The exercise book where I wrote my solutions into was thrown into some desolated corner in my drawer after just like, one week.

Haha, if you think I am really mugging in that picture, W-R-O-N-G. I posed for it in the library during our long breaks. Haha. I mean, if we were really mugging, who would have the time to snap a picture of me? Makes sense, right?

I was thinking, since everyone already branded NJ as a mugger school, might as well just go with the drift. LOL.

Viva la Vida!
NJC is quite cool actually. I think the school compounds exudes a kind of class, especially when seen from the side gate!

Got pissed with the uniform lady. I think she thinks I am extremely fat! She told me the XL skirt fitted me. =.= Am I that big-sized?! Wah piang, I trusted her and regretted terribly afterwards ---the skirt was too long and loose!

When I took it back for exchange, the cashier lady asked me to line up again, but the queue was long, so I left. After school, I went back to exchange the skirt, she told me that L has no stock! GRRRR. She asked me to come back tomorrow, which is today.

The most infuriating thing is AFTER QUEUING UP FOR 1 HOUR today, I was told L is already out of stock. Yeah, thanks a lot. Which means I wasted an hour of my time lining up in a queue that doesn't really move, only to be told that the size I want is not available. I don't know others, but I think this is DEFINITELY time well-spent.

Haha, but NJ's mass dance is quite well cheorographed!
